Day 3. Trip to St. Echmiadzin Cathedral (301AD, UNESCO heritage, the religious center of Armenia (Armenian Vatican). St. Hripsime church (7th c., UNESCO heritage), Metsamor archaeological site and museum, Zvartnots church ruins (7th c., UNESCO heritage).
Day 4. Khor Virap monastery (17th c.). From here one can enjoy the majestic view of Biblical Mount Ararat (5165 m.). Areni winery (wine tasting), ancient archaeological cave in Areni, Noravank monastery (10-14th cc.). Drive to South Armenia, Syunik Region. Overnight in Goris.
Day 5. Khndzoresk cave town (hiking is optional). Take the longest cable car in the world to get to Tatev monastery (9-15th c.), Stonehenge (5000 BC), a circular arrangement of 204 stones that is believed to be a celestial observatory.
